We find it much better and more personal to deal with customers by sending out this comprehensive pack and talking it over on the phone. Consequently we do not offer an online service. Simply fill in the order form in the pack. Ordering a signet ring is a very personal and involved process. It is not something that can be rushed and we want you to have all the information and time you need to make a considered purchase. This way you will be completely delighted with the results. Our brochure helps to take you step by step through the process of ordering your own personal signet ring.
1. Choose style of ring: Oxford Oval, Cushion shaped, or Gemstone signet.
2. Choose engraving: monogram initials or seal engraving of your crest.
3. Research into Crest: we can help research and will send a copy of the crest prior to engraving if you do not already have a copy.
4. Use the plastic ring finger sizer enclosed in the pack to measure your finger so we get an exact fit.
5. Choose additional engraving (optional) we can engrave names, or dates on the inside of the band and mottos under the crest.
6. Return your form and we get to work! Please allow 6 weeks for completion of the ring - every one is made individually as a piece of art for you to wear.
The plastic ring finger sizer is like a small belt that fits around the little finger. Just read off the letter and write it on the orderform. Please note it should be fitted quite tightly but you should be able to slip it on and off over your knuckle. Please note that your fingers do swell in the summer so please make the necessary allowances to prevent the ring slipping off in the winter and being lost.
The signet ring is normally worn on the little finger of your left hand. However if you wear jewellery on your ring finger it is quite normal to wear a signet on your right little finger. This is particularly the case with women. If you are a man wearing a wedding ring this can be worn next to the signet ring on the left little finger.
